Animated by a pioneering spirit, HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition on 30 June 2021 organized the webinar "Jewellery Today: something new". The online event was an opportunity to discuss how the scenarios of contemporary jewellery are changing after the pandemic, what are the most fertile territories and the values and strategies to be implemented.
For the occasion, we interviewed the protagonists of the debate that was introduced by Emanuele Guido (Exhibition Director Business Unit Lifestyle, Fiera Milano): Alba Cappellieri (Full Professor, Department of Design, Politecnico di Milano, and Director of the Museum of Jewellery Vicenza Exhibition Director), Paulo Ribeiro (Director and Founder of JOYA Barcelona Art Jewellery & Objects) and Fátima Santos (General Secretary of AORP - Portuguese Association of Jewellery and Watchmaking), who in fact provided us with an integrated and international vision, an important key to understanding contemporary trends specific to the sector.
