Paola Coti

Designer and Founder of Aonie

She graduated in Business Administration at Bocconi University in Milano. She began her working life at Versace in press and comunication. After 3 years in Versace she won a master in Luxury Management at Creative Academy, the school of Richemont Group. She worked as jewellery product development for Montblanc in Hamburg where she collaborated at the launch of the high jewellery line. In 2008 she founded the brand Aonie with her sister Consuelo where she actually works like strategic director. Aonie is a perfect union between fashion, femininity and tradition. The attentive look is at: the fashion, the world new trends and the huge care of the detail, considered the aspect which creates the difference. Essential Romanticism and a passion for vintage meet graphics and metal for an urban and contemporary twist, between contrast and balance. The result of this creative process is an evocative range of jewels, dreamy.

Simona Scala

Creative Director of Ornella Bijoux

I was born in Milan in 1964; my studies were oriented on Classics and I got a degree on Political Sciences with a focus on Journalism. For ten years, I was a full-time sport journalist following sport events as I have always been very passionate about sport. However, with the coming together of my family and the birth of my two child Pietro and Marta, I have decided to unlikely concentrate on family, especially because my work’s timetable was very hard to combine with my personal life. Around my thirties, just for fun, I have designed and built my own brand of bags made out of recycled materials, mainly using the fabric of American’s army camouflage shirts and bicycle tires. Later on, I felt the call to join my family business as it was offering me the opportunity to grow professionally and be creative even if in a different context from the one I have envisioned. From there onwards I have joined my mother -Maria Vittoria Albani- the soul of Ornella bijoux. By going back in a place where everything has started thirty-five years back, a place that has always been my own world, a place where I have grown up and unconsciously developed myself technically and creatively, I have finally found my home and opened up my heart.
