DREAMSCAPES and HYPER-CONNECTION

Future Trend Scenarios for Accessory and Jewellery

Focus: Analysis of Contemporary Trends and Influences in Fashion Jewellery

Live webinar - March 22nd 2021 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm CET

From the analysis of the contemporary scene it is possible to identify trajectories, emerging themes that define aesthetic connotations, inspiration for companies and designers in the sector.

The digital talk, organised by Homi Fashion&Jewels in collaboration with Poli.design, aims to present the trends for jewellery for the next two years, in terms of aesthetic, shapes, materials and innovation.

After an introduction to the topic, the two macro-trends will be analysed: Dreamscapes and Hyper-Connection. Each trend covers inspirational mood boards, lifestyle boards describing the target consumer of reference and four micro-trends.

Lastly, the talk includes a moment of discussion with guests, professionals and experts in the sector, who will tell their point of view, offering a direct opinion on the contemporary landscape.

This session will be of interest to independent designers, companies and professionals working in the jewellery sector.

Topics:

  • How are jewellery trends identified?
  • What are the new trends for 22-23?
  • What will be the new aesthetic connotations that the trends will bring?
  • How can these trends affect the design and production activity of a jewellery brand?

Orlando Fernandez Flores

Co-Founder Maison 203

Maison 203 was created in 2011 as a result of the encounter of Orlando Fernandez Flores, of Venezuelan origin and with a solid design experience in Foscarini, with Lucia De Conti, a cosmopolitan graphic designer and great fashion enthusiast. The synthesis of their multicultural backgrounds generates Maison 203: an unprecedented point of view on contemporary jewellery, conceptual and decorative at the same time, where thought, through technology, is transformed into concrete matter. All of Orlando and Lucia’s jewels and fashion accessories are recognizable by their strong personality and strong aesthetic impact, inspired by suggestions from time to time geometric, natural, or linked to the languages of architecture and contemporary graphics. Voluminous and decorative shapes, or elegant and minimal shapes which, thanks to the realization through 3D printing, are extremely light and flexible, able to interact harmoniously with the body. The collections of the brand are the result of the continuous contamination of ideas between Orlando, Lucia and the designers called upon to collaborate: emerging studios, or established professionals in the panorama of Italian design, employed in very different design fields and for this reason able to donate to jewels and to the accessories of Maison 203 always new formulas of beauty and meanings.
