With the ELLE Italia masterclass, organised to mark the February edition of Milano Fashion&Jewels, the most relevant trends of the forthcoming Spring/Summer 2024 season were revealed, waiting to be discovered in the proposals of many of the exhibitors. Between gold, coloured pearls and maxi sculptures, here are a few pointers for this summer’s trendiest jewellery!
Get ready to dare this summer, with bright colours, unique styles and materials and jewels in large shapes: from chokers, to torques, to over-the-top, oversized necklaces that become multi-strand, worn in abundance around the neck.
The earrings feature many bold shapes such as ear cuffs and maxi bangles. Large, in fact very large, the earrings become XXL or maxi sculptures with flower pendants, also huge, which can also be worn individually. Among the bracelets there are many proposals for maxi bangles, some with sculptural shapes, and others made with a range of different materials and colours.
Then, colour is provided by crystals, pearls and polychrome stones that add vibrancy to the designs, but also by the comeback of solid gold, shaped to reproduce animals, such as dragonflies and snakes, which inspire unique creations.
