The #befashionandjewels eco-system of HOMI Fashion&Jewels

However much the digital world is changing our behaviour, HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition is all about real people, products and lasting bonds. A creative and empathetic exchange that continues to animate each individual edition: a true meeting point which this year is also being developed on the digital platform #befashionandjewels.

Various firms have already signed up for the initiative, which serves as a complement to the fair proper, being held from 19 to 22 September. The idea behind the project is to generate more competitive power and it has been developed around a community whose members are all on the same level. #befashionandjewels supports not just retail but also buyers and top visitors, an important choice that focuses attention on relationships and constructs a new sector network.

The online community offers all firms an opportunity to keep up to date with the many big changes the digital age has brought with it, enabling them to become part of a healthy, hi-tech eco-system, based on business values. Among those who have already joined the #befashionandjewels community are: Alisia, whose hand-made jewellery features tiny chains and colourful micro-beads; Medusa, with decorative items made in Italy from 925 silver, steel, coral, pearls and semi-precious stones; Carola Gioielli, a label that is giving tradition a contemporary twist with Sardinian coral, Baltic and Dominican amber, American turquoise and Burmese jade; and Ale Max, a firm that celebrates femininity through the masterly use of colour and natural weaves.

All those who have signed up for HOMI Fashion&Jewels – retailers, buyers and top visitors – are members of #befashionandjewels: the idea is to cultivate relationships and share stories, through words and pictures, so that attention is drawn to the character of each individual product. Here, there are accounts of how collections came about, what country they are made in, whether creativity was combined with an innovative touch, what materials were used and what the inspiration behind the concept was. A detailed passport that is just a click away, also after the September 2020 edition.
