At HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition the two macro trends will be presented, here is a preview.
To help those working in the sector in their ongoing research, during the HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition, from 11 to 14 March 2022, the work carried out by the students of the Politecnico di Milano and aimed at analysing the macro trends that will mark the next season will be presented. While we wait to see the creative moodboards, here's a sneak peek of what you'll see at the event.
Beyond reality
Characters who colour their lives by personalising environments and multi-coloured objects, with carefree gestures such as swinging dreamily in a hammock or turning moving around into fun or even hiding a funny face behind composed behaviour, move with ease in this trend. Everything for them has a whimsical second life, it just depends on the point of view from which you view it. They are adults chasing the carefree side of childhood or young Peter Pan's taking refuge in the lightness of fantasy.
Handle with care
Handle with care's audience is represented by more or less mature but self-aware men and women. When they cover their bodies or enrich the environments they inhabit, they do not do so with the aim of camouflaging their true nature, but rather to experiment with different forms of expression, heterogeneous but genuine, dictated by a tireless curiosity. This results in refined details, not always functional, but undoubtedly communicative, aimed at questioning what you appear to be and what you really are.
